Nowell Releases SpyForce-AI Counter-Espionage Security Software To Defeat Insider Espionage and Identity Theft

SpyForce-AI is a new counter-espionage security system that defends computer systems against internal security breaches caused as a result of two specific problems: (1). Insider information espionage which occurs when company insiders use their computer access privileges to wrongfully steal information, and (2) Computer user identity-theft that is caused when thieves steal other people’s login passwords or smartcards to gain access to computer accounts. When computer attackers try to break into someone else’s computer account using a stolen identity (e.g. stolen user name and password) it is very likely that the thief will behave in a very suspicious manner– in a way that is very different from how the true owner of the computer account will behave under normal circumstances. Also, if an insider tries to steal company information, they will do so in a suspicious manner—in a way that is different from how they would typically behave. SpyForce-AI has the ability to detect such suspicious or abnormal behavior in user accounts in real time. SpyForce-AI does this by learning how each legitimate computer user behaves over time. SpyForce-AI learns how each computer user works on their computer so that if an attacker stole the user’s identity, and tries to steal access to their computer account, it will be able to detect suspicious behavior. SpyForce-AI does this by observing a difference between how the suspect attacker behaves and how the legitimate user behaves. Also SpyForce-AI learns personal information about each computer user by conversing and reasoning with them in human natural language using artificial intelligence. In this dialogue, it learns information about the user, which is used to verify his/her identity in the event that suspicious behavior, is detected in the users computer account.

When SpyForce-AI detects suspicious behavior inside a computer account, it investigates the suspicious activity by having the suspect prove his identity by going through an investigative interrogation. SpyForce-AI asks the suspect questions that only the authentic owner of the computer account will be able to answer correctly. If the suspect is not able to answer correctly, then SpyForce-AI will eject the suspect from the computer system, because that is evidence that the suspect is an intruder or an impersonator. Also SpyForce-AI will report the security incident to system administrators detailing everything that led up to the security breach so that they can investigate the security breach. On the other hand if the suspect passes the interrogation, then SpyForce-AI will release the suspect, but it will still report the suspicious activity to administrators because this could possibly be an incident of an insider using their access privileges to steal information.
